CatalogGuard
Catches the price that should never have gone live - a 90% drop, a price under cost, a compare-at wiped out by an import - and puts the old value back in one click.
- Every source, not just the admin. CSV imports, supplier syncs, other apps and the API all go through the same webhook, so they are all watched.
- Your own price history. Shopify keeps no record of what a variant used to cost. CatalogGuard does, which is what makes a restore possible at all.
- A circuit breaker. When hundreds of variants change at once it stops and asks you, instead of fighting a runaway import one price at a time.
- Honest about the limits. This is detect-and-reverse. A bad price is live for the seconds before the alert - no app can veto a change before Shopify saves it.
